All custom gun work requires a deposit of 50% of the estimated cost. This deposit is non refundable once parts have been ordered and / or work has begun. This includes customization of any Joint Rifle System or Freedom Forge Armory Suppressor.
PICK UP AND PAYMENT FOR REPAIR AND CUSTOM WORK
Customers have 30 days from the date of notification to pick up and pay in full any remaining balance on their account. After 30 days with no payment or pick up a written notification will be sent to the customers address on file. After 60 days with no payment or pick up a written finial notice will be sent to the customers address on file and a $10 storage fee will be assessed. After 90 days with no pick up or payment a letter notifying the customer that the item is considered abandoned and will be sold to cover the remaining balance of the account. That customers account will also be flagged so that any future transactions will have to be paid in full prior to any work being performed.
Freedom Forge Armory accepts payments in cash, personal or business check, cashiers check, certified funds, and credit or debit cards. We can not accept paypal, venmo, or any other app based money transfer service due to these services anti-gun policies.
Returned checks will be charged a $35 returned check fee. This fee and the original balance must be paid in cash, the customer account will be flagged and become a cash payment only account. Freedom Forge Armory LLC reserves the right to hold gunsmithing work, sales, and other items valued over $100 until the check has cleared.
Credit and debit cards may be used for payment for in person and online transactions. Work on an order or custom work will not begin until the transaction has cleared (usually 2-3 business days).

ASSESSMENT OF WATER, SMOKE, FIRE DAMAGE, AND CLEANING FEES
Freedom Forge Armory LLC reserves the right to asses other fees to a customers account upon discovery of conditions of water, smoke, fire damage, or cleanliness that was not disclosed at the time a firearm was delivered for repair or customization, if we have reason to believe that this information was purposefully with held, it impedes the work to be performed, or if the work requested includes remediation of these conditions due to the extra labor and time involved.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return merchandise within the first 14 days of delivery please follow the steps outlined below. Returns after 14 days will not be accepted.
**Please note that firearm purchases that are accepted from the transferring FFL are considered used firearms and returns will NOT be guaranteed. Inspect it BEFORE accepting the transfer. All sales are final on special orders, products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.
**NFA items, electronic sights and optics, ammunition. Unless received defective, these items are not returnable or refundable.

All returns on orders paid by a credit card will receive a credit to the card used on the purchase (or store credit at our discretion) once confirmation of receipt of merchandise has been made and inspection has been completed. Depending on your financial institution, refunds are credited between 3 to 5 business days after issuance. All cancelled orders that paid with a money order or cashier's check will have the refund issued as store credit.

Upon receiving your package, and verification of the item is made, you will receive an e-mail with the status. This process can take up to a few weeks from start to finish.
Please Note: You will be responsible for covering the Shipping Fee on returned merchandise that is not-defective. A 20% Restocking Fee will apply to any returned merchandise. Firearms that are not defective and in the possession of your FFL will have a 20% Restocking Fee AND a shipping charge deducted from your refund. Any variance to this policy may result in no refund or a partial refund.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FIREARM RETURNS:
Please take your time to inspect all firearms thoroughly at the FFL dealer BEFORE proceeding with the transfer. Once a new firearm is transferred to you from the FFL it is considered used, even if unfired. Consequently, we will not be able to guarantee acceptance of the return. Also, we DO NOT reimburse FFL transfer fees on returned items. We do understand that some manufacturer defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection. However, upon discovering a defect AFTER the transfer is accepted, the firearm MUST be returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with manufacturers warranty policy). By sending a defective firearm directly to the manufacturer, you can avoid the unnecessary transfer fees of returning the firearm to us through your local FFL dealer. If we do receive a defective firearm that has already been transferred, we will simply forward the firearm to the manufacturer on your behalf. Manufacturer repaired firearms can be returned directly to the customer without additional FFL transfer or associated fees. However, if the manufacturer chooses to replace the firearm, the replacement firearm must transfer through your local FFL dealer to document the replacement firearm serial number. We will not cover any additional transfer fees if that situation occurs.
CHANGE OF PRICES
Freedom Forge Armory LLC reserves the right to change it's prices for products and services at any time with out prior notification.
SALES OUTSIDE OF VIRGINIA
Freedom Forge Armory does have certain states we will not ship rifles, parts, or magazines to. These include states that have either firearm and / or magazine restrictions. We will not service rifles, part, or magazines originating from those states either. States we will not ship to include Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, California, Hawaii, Washington DC, and any where outside of the US. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Firearms will only be shipped to current FFL/SOT holders in your state. No International orders on firearms. We ship USPS Priority Mail or UPS. When purchasing a firearm from us please have your FFL/SOT email their FFL/SOT paperwork to us so we can ship immediately.
REFUSAL OF TRANSFER OR SALE
Freedom Forge Armory LLC reserves the right to refuse to transfer any firearm, NFA Item, or ITAR regulated item to an individual or entity for any reason.
APPOINTMENT, LATE ARRIVAL, NO-SHOW, CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING
Our goal is to provide quality services to all our clients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our staff, but our other clients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call us at 804 869-8960 between the hours of 10 AM and 3 PM or leave a message through the customer contact portal on the website. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call or message as soon as possible.
No-Show for an appointment.
The first time a client misses an appointment, we will make a note in your file. Missed appointments, will incur a fee of $10. Your appointment will be canceled and you will have to reschedule.
If you are more than 20 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, the same cancellation fee of $10 will apply. We will do our very best to reschedule your service for another time that is convenient to you.
Please understand that appointment times are limited. If you must cancel your appointment, we respectfully request 48 hours notice. Missed appointments, or appointments cancelled without 48 hours notice, will incur a fee of $10.

We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances happen. If you can not make an appointment due to an unforeseen event please let us know as soon as possible and we will handle it on an individual basis.
Freedom Forge Armory LLC makes every to insure the safety and security of firearms left for repair or customization. Freedom Forge Armory LLC is not responsible for fire damage or theft of firearms left in the shop for repair, customization, service, or transfer.
